Service Description
Emotions can feel overwhelming for us and even more, for our child of any age. This course is delivered 1:1 in person or online and although it is semi - structured covering different ways to manage our emotions, it is geared towards whatever your child or teen needs help with. Also, different techniques will appeal to different children so I'll be focusing on the ones that resonate with them and which they will find beneficial ongoing. My preference is for techniques that are easy for them to use for themselves and which address the feeling rather than the thought because we feel, then we send that feeling to our brain to try and make sense of it (the "why") and then when we don't understand the 'why' we go back to the feeling and feel even worse.
